About The Position

The Assembly, Integration & Test (AI&T) Engineering Technician supports the planning, design, and execution of processes and procedures for module- and satellite-level assembly, integration, and testing. The work supports satellite manufacturing, qualification testing, and launch integration operations. The technician handles flight hardware and operates electrical and mechanical ground support equipment (EGSE/MGSE) in factories, test facilities, and launch sites as needed to meet mission requirements. The role supports Airbus U.S. satellite platforms, including the ARROW platform, across mission phases such as design, manufacturing, qualification testing, and launch. The technician performs assembly and testing according to work instructions and technical manuals; operates specialized test equipment; documents test and operational issues; and works with engineering teams to identify and resolve integration and test failures. The primary location is Merritt Island, Florida, with extended domestic travel of one to two months possible to support launch and testing campaigns, as well as occasional international travel to collaborate with European Airbus counterparts. U.S. citizenship is required. The employee must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance; an active Secret-level DoD clearance is highly desirable. Occasional shift and overtime work may be required to support the mission.
