Assembly, Integration and Test IPT Lead (QRF)

InfleqtionLouisville, CO
$131,000 - $210,000Onsite

About The Position

Infleqtion is seeking an Assembly, Integration and Test (AI&T) IPT Lead for our QRF portfolio. This individual will own the integration and verification flow that turns components and subassemblies into hardware configurations ready for (internal or external) customer handoff. The ideal candidate has led complex precision hardware through integration, environmental test, anomaly resolution, and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in assembly, integration, test, verification, production test, or systems test for complex hardware.
  • Aerospace hardware experience is required, including integration, verification, environmental test, delivery of flight, flight-relevant, or similarly high-reliability hardware.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary integration/test teams through build, checkout, anomaly resolution, and delivery.
  • Experience writing or approving integration/test procedures, travelers, verification reports, readiness packages, and sell-off evidence.
  • Experience with environmental or system verification such as thermal/vacuum, vibration, electrical functional test, optical alignment/test, or interface test.
  • Strong working knowledge of configuration control, test discipline, safety, quality, nonconformance, and hardware handling.
  • Ability to communicate test status, blockers, risks, and recovery plans clearly to technical teams and program leadership.
  • This position may require access to information protected under U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Any offer of employment may be conditioned on authorization to receive software, hardware, or technology controlled under these laws without sponsorship for an export license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with “go fast” programs where schedule can’t slip.
  • Experience with complex hardware and hybrid hardware/software/firmware/gateware systems, field-deployed sensors, or other high-programs requiring high reliability and low tolerance of underperforming systems or program failure
  • Experience with optical, laser/LIDAR, UHV, high-voltage, precision electromechanical, embedded electronics, or quantum/AMO laboratory systems
  • Experience with TRR, ATP, environmental test campaigns, customer-witnessed testing, and formal delivery packages
  • Experience building or managing GSE/MGSE/EGSE/OGSE readiness.
  • Experience supporting EVM, CAM status, IMS execution, or cost/schedule variance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Own subsystem and full QRF system builds - spanning early prototypes and moving towards repeatable and scalable products – serving internal and external programs and system sales
  • Be the “hands on” on the floor as QRF AI&T IPT lead, including integration planning, build flow, readiness gates, test execution, anomaly management, and delivery coordination
  • Over time proceed in building and managing a diverse technical team, including but not limited to project / manufacturing / systems / quality and test engineers
  • Interface with engineering and physics/science teams on test procedures, manufacturing methods, quality, and validation artefacts
  • Own the AI&T plan, integration sequence, test readiness criteria, facilities and equipment needs, and subsystem handoff criteria all the way from planning to system delivery.
  • Coordinate daily/weekly execution across subsystem IPTs, systems engineering, quality, procurement, and program controls
  • Develop and maintain integration procedures, test procedures, travelers, configuration records, test data packages, and customer acceptance evidence.
  • Plan and execute functional, interface, environmental, optical, vacuum, electrical, and system-level verification activities as applicable
  • Lead TRR-style reviews, readiness reviews, failure/anomaly investigations, and recovery planning.
  • Ensure integration and test activities are compatible with laser safety, high voltage, vacuum, cleanliness, handling, ESD, and facility constraints
  • Drive readiness for facility, instrumentation, shipping, handling, and safety inputs.
  • Track AI&T schedule, resource needs, open issues and closure plans, risks, and EAC/ETC impacts for program reporting.
