Assembly Inspector - 2nd Shift (Quality)
About The Position
The Assembly Inspector - 2nd Shift (Quality) position at Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is responsible for performing assembly inspection of regulators at various locations in the assembly plants according to established procedures and monitoring conformance to quality standards. The hourly rate for this position is $24.45 + $2.50 shift premium per hour, with shift hours from 3pm to 11pm. Salaries are determined by candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market/business considerations. A sign-on bonus of $2,000 is offered, paid in two installments, with specific terms and conditions applying.
Requirements
- High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
- Ability to work overtime when required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspection on interior and exterior of units.
- Perform all responsibilities of the Inspector.
- Perform visual inspection of units throughout the assembly process per established procedures.
- Inspect decals and stencils to exterior of unit and perform paint mileage check as required.
- Complete various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.
