Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This role requires the ability to work with hands for extended periods and proficiency with manual non-powered hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments. The position involves accurately counting items, understanding units of measure, determining the condition of tools, and properly stocking materials, parts, and sub-assemblies. Employees must be able to read and understand work orders, sales orders, and drawings, and notify supervisors of any issues or shortages. Responsibilities also include properly stacking and securing parts to pallets or racks, safely moving them with a forklift, and assembling and packaging per instructions. Proficiency in various hand tools (electric, pneumatic, wrenches, screwdrivers, rivet guns, grinders, impact tools, air tools, plasma, angle squares, gauge meter, pressure gauges, etc.) is expected. The role involves assembling items as instructed by a Supervisor and requires hand tool competency, with the ability to complete at least one of the following tasks: Wire Stripping and cutting, Thermo form plastic injection molding, electronic assembly with testing, or kit building of fastener assemblies via auto-bagger.
