The Hook Operator/Cleaner position supports the assembly operation by ensuring plating tanks, hooks, and machines are functional, and that products are available for assembly packers to prepare final products for customers. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of (enter location) will be considered.
Ability to proactively work with other team members.
This position requires standing and/or walking for an entire eight- to twelve-hour shift.
Ability to be forklift certified.
Repetitive motion required.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in industrial manufacturing.
Prior experience working in a team environment.
Prior experience driving powered industrial vehicles.

Responsibilities

Deliver pallets and cartons to assembly/packer stations by forklift.
Use a variety of hand, pneumatic, and power tools.
Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition.
Understand all duties, including plating, painting, assembly, packing, and screwdriver operations during times when packers do not require service.
Troubleshoot and repair hooks on the line.
Maintain and follow all safety requirements and ensure compliance by maintenance personnel.
Work with the other line server, supervisor, packers, and plating personnel to accurately run the production schedule and notify them of any issues that may arise.
Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on hook equipment.
Perform all other duties as assigned and required.
