Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• at least 6 months of industrial manufacturing experience or equivalent military service
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• able to work independently and effectively within a team environment
• Willing and able to work any shift as needed to support production demands
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• perform repetitive movements (standing, bending, reaching)
• wear required PPE
• operate machinery for extended periods
• work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and moving equipment

Nice To Haves

• Technical or vocational training may be considered in place of experience
• motor assembly experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble industrial electric motors and components (stators, rotors, bearings, housings, wiring) while completing electrical connections, routing leads, and interpreting schematics to ensure proper insulation, grounding, and functionality.
• Perform quality checks and functional testing (hi-pot, continuity, balance), identify defects, and complete rework or troubleshooting in collaboration with quality and engineering teams.
• Operate assembly tools (torque tools, presses, hand tools) safely and accurately, maintain equipment calibration, and support efficient production flow, line balancing, and coordination across departments.
• Track production data and work orders, follow SOPs and safety standards, maintain a clean 5S-compliant workspace, and contribute to process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
