About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring quality control in a food manufacturing environment. The Assembly Auditor will verify various processes to prevent contamination, ensure product integrity, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards. This includes checking label verification, weight control, temperature and viscosity adherence, sanitation procedures, and HACCP documentation. The position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Verify that every activity in your area of work is not conducive to food contamination or cross-contamination. Act promptly when required.
  • Verify Label Verification activities are being conducted properly
  • Verify weight control activities are being conducted properly
  • Verify temperatures & viscosities are prescribed
  • Calibrate thermometers for oncoming shift and document
  • Work harmoniously with production for the release or holding of products
  • Conduct FFA analysis, report and clean glassware involved
  • Verify the Sanitizer concentration in solution: luggers, drums, etc.
  • Verify that the Allergen Program is being properly followed
  • Conduct operation sanitation inspections as prescribed. Seek corrective actions promptly when required
  • Verify all HACCP documents as required
  • Verify component weights & finished weights of products in assembly
  • Verify gondola/monitoring temperatures as required
  • Verify metal detectors are working properly
  • Verify there are no leakers and the O?levels are within specification
  • Verify labels and code dates are correct
  • Verify line wash downs and do sanitation inspections when necessary
  • Accurately report on products held &/or released during your shift
