About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking structural assemblers to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada). Whether you have experience in the industrial sector, experience in the aerospace sector, or are looking to enter this field with a desire to grow and develop new skills, this position is perfect for you!

Requirements

A T.S.D. in aerospace structural assembly OR
A T.S.D. in aerospace mechanical assembly OR
A D.S.C in airframe assembly OR
An evidence of completion of an accelerated (fast-track) training program in aircraft structures, OR
A high school diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of 3 years of experience as an assembler in the aerospace field or a related industry, within the last 5 years
You will be required to work in an enclosed space
You will be required to work at heights of up to 30 feet on a regular basis
Ability to adopt and maintain various physical positions as needed for the job

Responsibilities

Work from instructions provided in the form of assembly manuals and visual aids
Use jigs and position PVA components, engineering drawings, or any other materials provided by the methods department
Drill within prescribed tolerances, apply sealing products, and install the required fasteners according to engineering specifications
Meet the standard deadlines prescribed by the methods department and comply with the quality reference document
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental standards
Ensure compliance with production standards and rates
Perform other related duties based on experience and qualifications
