Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer literacy, including experience with ERP systems (an asset)
  • Proficiency in French
  • Ability to understand instructions in English
  • Ability to work in a controlled work environment including the mandatory use of PPE including protective eyewear and gowning

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly and sub-assembly of medical devices, ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive operations.
  • Follow written or verbal work instructions and diagrams to assemble products to specification.
  • Use a variety equipment and tools to complete tasks.
  • Conduct assembly testing and make continuity checks on in-process and finished products.
  • Perform quality checks in accordance with established specifications and procedures.
  • Disassemble, rework, reassemble, and test components as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with health and safety guidelines.
  • Accurately create, pick material, and close Job Orders in the ERP system.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and report quality issues using the ERP system.
  • Assist with other related tasks as needed.
