About The Position

The Assembler position involves reading blueprints and specifications to ensure the accurate assembly of box cabinets, racks, and related components. Responsibilities include using tools and assembly techniques, such as bending fastening devices, fitting and securing interlocking parts, and applying touch-up paint. Assemblers are also responsible for packing cabinets for shipment and moving materials using hand trucks or fork trucks, while completing required documentation. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines, including the use of PPE, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Employees are expected to demonstrate reliability, accountability, and a strong work ethic.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and flat layouts.
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, sitting, bending, pushing, pulling, and grasping.
• Adherence to safety guidelines and use of PPE (safety glasses, ear protection, safety shoes).
• Must wear long pants, steel-toed shoes, and T-shirts. No tank tops, drapery wear, or clothing with holes/tears/rips.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and flat layouts to ensure the accurate assembly of box cabinets, Racks and related components.
• Bend fastening devices, fit and secure interlocking parts, and apply touch-up paint to finished cabinets as needed.
• Properly pack cabinets for shipment to ensure products are protected and prepared for delivery.
• Move materials using hand trucks or fork trucks.
• Complete required documentation and related paperwork.
• Follow all workplace safety guidelines, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, ear protection, and safety shoes.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Demonstrate reliability and accountability.
• Consistently exhibit a strong work ethic.
