About The Position

medmix is seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Assembler for a 12-hour night shift at its manufacturing facility in Flowery Branch, United States. The Assembler will assemble components and products according to specifications as part of the production team. The role involves following assembly instructions and work orders, using tools and equipment, checking product quality, maintaining a clean and safe work area, and working with colleagues to meet production goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret assembly instructions and blueprints accurately.
• Basic math skills for measuring and counting components.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Willingness and ability to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret assembly instructions, blueprints, and work orders to assemble parts and products accurately.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and assembly equipment to complete production tasks as needed.
• Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Report issues or discrepancies in the assembly process to supervisors.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance assembly processes.
