About The Position

Join SLB as an Assembler on our 2nd Shift in Florence, KY, where you’ll play a crucial role building and testing products that drive our business forward. This is a direct hire position in a collaborative, safety-focused environment with opportunities for skill development and advancement. Work four 10-hour shifts (Monday–Thursday, 3:00pm–1:30am) and earn a competitive wage plus a $2.50/hr shift differential.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
0–2 years’ experience in a manufacturing or assembly setting
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
Proficient in basic computer tasks (emails, online training)
Effective communicator with management and peers
Ability to read blueprints and use hand tools
Capable of performing essential physical functions (lifting up to 50 lbs and carrying up to 100 feet)
Must reside within commuting distance of Florence, KY, and have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with dimensioning and setting mechanical tolerances
Previous experience with continuous improvement methodologies

Responsibilities

Assemble components across all product lines using the correct tools and fixtures
Conduct testing of assembled products to ensure quality standards are met
Troubleshoot and resolve assembly and testing issues efficiently
Read blueprints and identify relevant components for each build
Operate equipment, set tolerances, and apply rework techniques as needed
Accurately document labor records for all transactions
Proactively identify and address potential issues, escalating when necessary
Support continuous improvement by applying Manufacturing System principles
