This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, reading blueprints, and assembling mechanical components that result in durable, high-performance equipment.
Requirements
- Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using hand tools.
- Ability to read measurements and understand technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow instructions and standard procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic assembly techniques and shop safety practices.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.
- Knowledge of common measurement tools such as tape measures and calipers.
- General understanding of mechanical components and fitment.
- Apply blueprint and measurement information to real-world assembly tasks.
- Adapt to changing priorities and production needs.
- Learn new processes and skills through hands-on training.
- Maintain organization, accuracy, and cleanliness in daily work.
- Contribute positively to team goals and production deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and tape measurements accurately.
- Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies according to specifications.
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow verbal and written instructions to meet production and quality standards.
- Inspect assembled components to ensure accuracy and workmanship.
- Work collaboratively with team members to maintain efficiency and quality.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Demonstrate consistent attendance and a positive, team-focused attitude.
