About The Position

This role is for a Production Assembly Team Member on the 3rd Shift. The Assembler is responsible for performing various assembly operations, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. The position requires the ability to use independent judgment, follow work instructions, and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. There is a 60-day qualification period for this role.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge of arithmetic is required
Basic skills in oral and written communication
Comply with all Environment, Health, and Safety (EH&S) rules and procedures
Ability to use independent judgment, in visual checks to determine if process is within control

Responsibilities

Conduct quality checks as indicated in the Control Plan, and complete the appropriate paperwork
Perform assembly operations per work instructions
Weigh and pack finished goods
Transport boxes accepted by quality to the end of the press/machine row
Certify parts from hold cage
Review work instructions and quality alerts daily at assigned presses/machines to assure proper part review, and sign-off on new quality alerts as needed
Attend shift meetings
Notify supervisor, process tech, operator, and/or inspector of any part or equipment defects that affect quality of the parts and/or hinder the ability to do the job required
Notify process tech, supervisor, operator, and/or inspector when press alarms and/or stops running for any reason, or if scheduled press is not running
Rewind a variety of terminals, as defined by product codes
Package and label properly
Visually inspect equipment to ensure proper operating condition
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
Restock workstation with necessary parts and equipment
Perform other duties as required by supervisor
