About The Position

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Electrical and Mechanical Assembler. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical components and systems in a manufacturing or production environment. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Familiarity with electrical or mechanical assembly processes and tools (such as Band saws, hole drilling, Disk sander, Bench grinder, Arbor press ect.)
  • Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices (e.g., calipers, multimeters).
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative.
  • Microsoft office 365.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, blueprints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees of organization.

Nice To Haves

  • vocational or technical training in electrical or mechanical assembly is a plus.
  • CNC, CAD, CAM experience (SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor or fusion) is a plus.
  • 3D printing experience is a plus
  • Brother and Brady label machine experience is a plus
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and electrical components according to 3D model, work instructions, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, crimping, and basic mechanical assembly as needed.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete assembly tasks.
  • Inspect assembled products for quality, accuracy, and adherence to specifications.
  • Identify and address basic assembly defects or errors, escalating more complex issues to the supervisor.
  • Conduct basic functional tests on assembled systems and components.
  • Identify and repair minor issues or ensure proper escalation for more complex problems.
  • Maintain neat and organized workstations, tools, and materials.
  • Accurately complete required documentation, such as work logs or production records.
  • Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment and work areas to maintain safe and clean working conditions.
  • Work cooperatively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Can be self-sufficient with minimal supervision.
  • Participate in on-the-job training and development to enhance assembly skills.
