About The Position

An Assembler works as an effective member of a team to assemble product in a timely manner according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality guidelines to produce quality products. This position requires the ability to complete routine operations on a continual basis.

Requirements

Able to perform routine tasks on a continuing basis.
Able to correctly use required tools, fixtures, machines, etc. involved in the manufacturing process.
Able to correctly inspect according to instructions, engineering drawings, and training.
Able to recognize quality problems with materials and work in process.
Able to complete an inspection step in a timely manner as outlined by leadership.
Able to communicate and work with others as a team.
If working nights or shifts with minimal supervision, must pass a criminal background check.

Alerts supervision of problems with materials, tools, fixtures, machinery, etc.
Suggests improved or alternate methods of assembling product.

Responsibilities

Performs a specific step of the manufacturing process as part of a team, according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and training to produce quality product.
Inspects the quality of the materials and work in process.
Produces product in a timely manner as outlined by department supervision and management.
Operates any equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. needed to perform the assigned job.
Cleans and sterilizes cells and totes.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job. Punctuality and regular attendance are crucial for efficient plant operations, safety, and morale.
Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.
