About The Position

Responsible for assembling completed product/subassemblies and packaging to customer specifications. Openly accepts work assignments from Manager and Department Leads and understands the positive impact/outcome to the business. Actively identifies continuous improvement initiatives and uses knowledge and learnings to provide multiple feasible solutions. Maintains a strong desire/willingness to enhance professional growth and assists in the development and training of coworkers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • One year of relevant experience in manufacturing (preferred)
  • Broad knowledge of assembly of various components to complete product/subassemblies
  • Is resilient and understands change is constant
  • Possess strong attention to detail and good math and reasoning skillset
  • Good verbal communication skills and ability to interact well with other employees
  • Professional attitude when approaching work assignments
  • Willingness to train and positively empower coworkers
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
  • Utilizes strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot and provide solutions with a Positive executional mindset
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and electrical schematics

Responsibilities

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), blueprint specifications, and Product Structure list by gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials
  • Positions parts and subassemblies per blueprints, using fixtures/templates when necessary.
  • Assembles components/units by examining for correct fit: fastening parts and subassemblies using various tools and packages per specifications
  • Keeps equipment operational by keeping it clean and reporting any malfunctions or repairs needed
  • Performs wiring and assembly operations on a variety of electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Cut, form and connects and/or terminates wiring in accordance with instructions or prototypes
  • Uses test sets and checking devices
  • Make necessary calibrations to regulate units in accordance with documented procedures
  • Assembles components per SOP and blueprint
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by using standard 5S practices
  • Documents actions by completing production and quality forms
  • Responsible for accurate reporting of labor time, production quantities, inventory movements and scrap in ERP system
  • Responsible for meeting production and quality goals
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Ability to value another employee on his or her own capabilities
  • Performs other duties or responsibilities as requested or required
