About The Position

ITW Commercial Construction North America (CCNA), a division of ITW, is seeking an Assembler to join their team in Paris, KY. This role is responsible for adhering to safety standards, setting up equipment, and following the production schedule to meet customer needs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED, required.
  • Must be able to work up to 40 hours (7:30pm to 6:00am) with occasional overtime, no greater than 12 hours per day (may be required to work Saturdays).
  • Ability to understand basic machinery.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Must be able to perform basic math (adding and subtraction).
  • Must be able to recognize and identify parts, problems, and offer solutions.
  • Must be able to read blueprints/specification sheets and follow instructions.
  • Must be able to complete supplemental training (i.e. blueprint reading, technical math, and measurement tools).
  • Must have basic English communication skills (read, write and speak).

Nice To Haves

  • Less than a year of manufacturing experience; including set up, operate, changeover, use of measurement tools and knowledge of preventive maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assembling and packaging Ramset product per process specifications and coach’s instructions.
  • Proficiently maintaining machinery through basic preventive maintenance, lubrication, etc.
  • Performing all quality checks according to MIIs and quality specifications sheets.
  • Tracking and documenting quality checks and scrap for assigned equipment as required.
  • Setting up, operating, and troubleshooting any and all assembly equipment in the assembly department.
  • Weighing and counting parts, placing cartons into bulk shippers, sealing, labeling, and placing on skid.
  • Using various hand tools such as pliers, screwdriver, and wrenches for machine adjustments and set-ups.
  • Following all prescribed safety/housekeeping practices and procedures.
  • Identifying and tagging safety hazards on machinery and in the work area.
  • Performing 5-S activities and improvements as required.
  • Tracking machine downtime per shift.
  • Working with other team members and participating in team events and meetings.
  • Performing other duties as needed to support the plant and meet customer needs.
