Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Able to establish and maintain effective work relationships
  • Ability to understand and use computer terminals
  • Ability to read and perform from printed shop schedules
  • Ability to perform visual/mechanical inspection for function and appearance
  • Ability to use a variety of screw drivers and clamps, small hand tools.
  • Aptitude for math
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Ability to stand/sit for extended periods
  • Ability to demonstrate manual dexterity: ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms
  • Ability to demonstrate fine hand movements
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required

Responsibilities

  • Assemble random and complex master key cylinder requirements
  • Perform any operation on any mechanical cylinder assembly workstation following standard methods and procedures
  • Work from schedules and other data or instructions to build mechanical assemblies
  • Using established procedures, inspect products for function, appearance and other quality specifications
  • Detect and correct faulty operation, defective material and unusual conditions and advise lead hand.
  • Responsible for TQC (Total quality control)
  • Read and comprehend published standard operating procedures (SOP)
  • Understand and populate shop floor controls
  • Perform various electronic transactions utilizing bar code scanners, pc, and printers
  • Utilize Lean Six Sigma business model to drive continuous process improvement
  • Follow all prescribed safety regulations.
  • Maintain work area in neat and orderly condition. Understand 5S principles and sustain
  • Perform other duties as assigned
