About The Position

You will help ensure products meet quality and on-time delivery expectations by performing hands-on assembly and test work in an onsite manufacturing environment. You will impact production throughput and product quality while working with supervisors, quality staff, and production teammates on the evening (2nd) shift.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Comfort using common mechanical hand and power tools and basic test equipment
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and work instructions
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with high accuracy and stand for most of the shift
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
• Willingness to train on first shift for at least two months before transitioning to the 2nd shift

Nice To Haves

• Experience in aerospace or other regulated/ISO-certified manufacturing environments
• Exposure to LEAN manufacturing methodologies

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and test functions using hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, and inspection measurement equipment
• Record test results and document work on data forms
• Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, and test specifications
• Produce and inspect assemblies to meet product and customer specifications
• Perform touch-up or full surface painting and related finishing tasks
• Participate in lean initiatives and suggest process improvements
• Maintain a FOD-free work area and follow safety and calibration procedures
