Assembler Let’s build tomorrow together. As an Assembler, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process by performing a variety of operations such as mounting, posting, and aligning parts, setting up equipment for testing, and maintaining production records to assemble comfort units to specifications. Shifts ( All shifts operate Monday-Thursday with possible overtime on Friday and Saturday) Shift 2 230pm to 2am M-TH w/OT as deemed mandatory What You Will Do Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment Work from blueprints and verbal instructions from Supervisor. Able to mount, align, position, and assemble a variety of parts and components including frames, compressors, fans assemblies, control boxes, coils, panels, motors, nuts, bolts, rivets, adhesives, etc., to completely assemble comfort units. Communicate effectively with team and supervisors. You will need to coordinate with other assemblers to ensure smooth production flow and to troubleshoot any issues including any shortages or outages. Visually inspect assembled products to ensure that all parts are properly aligned, connected, and functioning correctly. You bring an attention to detail to identify any visible flaws or issues that could affect quality. Package units and parts with all necessary components including warranties and manuals. Choose correct packaging materials to protect the nature of the product. This may include boxes, bubble wrap, foam inserts, plastic bags, or protective sleeves. Maintain a clean and orderly workplace. Perform any and all other department duties as assigned by Supervisor. Sweeping and straightening of the workplace is for a safe and productive atmosphere.
