About The Position

Hog Slat, Inc. the world’s leading provider of parts, equipment and turn-key construction to the swine & poultry industries is seeking an Assembler with excellent reasoning and mathematical skills to join the team at our Clinton, NC Manufacturing location. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business conditions change. Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints. Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets or other fasteners. Removes small quantities of metal with hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts. Operates drill presses, pneumatic and hard tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations Adhere to all safety procedures. Ability to read and understand English and communicate effectively.

Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Read tape measure.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds frequently on a daily basis.
• Frequent bending , moving materials , in a variety of different work stations.
