As an Assembler for Cincinnati Fan, you will assemble, test, and repair, industrial fans, blowers, and air-handling modules based on engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. This is a 1st shift opportunity, Monday-Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required.

Requirements

  • Minimum one year experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanically inclined.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical equipment and electronic instruments helpful.
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety rules and adhere to core value of business.
  • Maintain clean, orderly work areas and equipment (5s)
  • Ensure proper and effective operation of equipment and tools. Report repairs and/or issues to team lead or supervisor.
  • Ensure all parts and surfaces are free from defects.
  • Test, inspect, and adjust completed units for tolerances and quality.
  • Identify and resolve inconsistencies or issues during assembly.
  • Monitor quality of own work and immediately report defective material, unusual conditions, and/or operating difficulties to team leaders or supervisor.
  • Perform light maintenance on tools, equipment, machines, and other devices used in the normal course of the work performed.
  • Ability to read work orders for correct assembly sequence.
  • Operate hand and power tools (drills, grinders,) and precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and screwdrivers)
  • Assemble by hand, hand tools, portable power tools, or other equipment necessary to complete finished product.
  • Coordinate staging and sequencing of parts, production items, and product components.
  • Load/unload parts, items, and components using hand truck, pallet jacks, hoists, cranes, and other mechanical aids.
  • Mark parts, attach nameplates, and document issues.
  • Team player, assisting other team members and departments as needed with other duties not routine to position.
  • Punctual, on time, ready to work, every day.
