About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Assembly Technician for a full time 6 month contractor role. In this role, you will assist in detector test and production for underwater detectors.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in system/component assembly.
- Previous knowledge of mechanical assembly, gluing and assembly of large components and basic troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety standards and procedures
- Strong attention to detail with excellent manual dexterity
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality
Responsibilities
- Assemble components and products according to detailed specifications and work instruction.
- Conduct quality checks during assembly to ensure product integrity and adherence to standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
- Assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues and report any equipment malfunctions promptly
- Follow safety protocols rigorously, including proper use of personal protective equipment
- Report on activities and results from tests, measurements, and assembly.
