About The Position

This position preps and assembles fabricated components and materials in conjunction with customer quality requirements and United Alloy manufacturing philosophies. Performance, quality preservation, organization and efficiency are essential.

Requirements

Some exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes.
Ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure, caliper, basic hand tools and air tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Completed forklift certification training with the safety team to operate a forklift.
Can record time accurately including “time and attendance” and “labor reporting” using the data collection system.
Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist.

Responsibilities

Understands cross check concepts and inspects product according to Inspections Control Plan
Accurately tags material and product according to product specifications.
Can identify hardware components used in assemblies.
Can compute decimal equivalents and interchange fractions.
Can accurately count and record production activity including picking, transfers, etc.
Can follow written and verbal directions to complete assignments or jobs.
Cross train with paint department
Other duties included but not limited to
