About The Position
Advantech Industries Inc. is a family-owned manufacturing company based in Rochester, New York, specializing in CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, welding, and assembly services. The company, founded in 2002, serves multiple industries, including defense, medical, and aerospace, and operates out of a 250,000-square-foot facility. Advantech Industries Inc. is currently recruiting Assemblers.
Requirements
- Ability to use an air gun, air drivers, other hand and power tools and a pallet truck.
- Alignment with the requirements and principles of the Advantech Quality Management System and ISO 9001:2015.
- Skills to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently.
- Capacity to handle changes in business operations and adjust to new situations.
- Preparedness to sit for extended periods and manipulate items with dexterity.
- Ability to work with limited supervision.
- 1 - 2 years of previous manufacturing experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Responsibilities
- Assembles product according to project specifications.
- Visually inspects parts and assembled pieces for defects and touches up paint finish as needed.
- Assists Shipping and Receiving with preparing the final product for delivery.
