About The Position

The Final Assembler performs essential production tasks as part of a team, completing the assembly of coolers and ensuring each cooler is customer ready. The role involves assembling components, interpreting production documentation, testing and disassembling assemblies for shipment, and operating lifting equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months to one year of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Ability to work in a team atmosphere.
• Ability to work in tight or enclosed areas and at heights of six feet above the ground.
• Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Work safely and look out for the safety of the team.
• Keep a clean, hazard-free workspace.
• Identify defective items and handle them accordingly.
• Use reason to solve problems.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Follow JSA and work instructions, and use identified PPE.
• Take pride in the work and the final product shipped.

Responsibilities

• Hand assemble cooler components.
• Use hand and power tools to assemble components and complete coolers.
• Study blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasks.
• Test and disassemble assemblies for shipment.
• Operate manlifts and cranes.
• Perform other duties as assigned or directed by a supervisor.
