About The Position

The purpose of this position is to perform tasks to ensure all work instructions related to the assembly of standard SMC products and simple specials are followed. Essential duties include adherence to all department work instructions, ensuring the respective area is compliant with 5S standards, processing all paperwork necessary associated with established assembly standards, executing basic to advanced workflow tasks on established SMC systems, assembling and testing standard SMC products and simple specials, interpreting and applying simple special documentation, understanding SMC’s part numbering system, understanding and application of physical bin system, completing inventory transactions consistent with established work instructions, and adherence to all safety rules and Quality Management system standards and policies. All other duties as assigned.
