About The Position

As a vinyl window assembler you will meticulously assemble the components of vinyl windows using various tools and machinery, ensuring all parts are properly fitted together according to specifications, while adhering to quality standards and safety protocols in a production line setting. Requirements

  • Manual dexterity: Ability to handle small parts with precision and perform repetitive tasks
  • Attention to detail: Meticulously inspect each window for quality issues
  • Basic mechanical skills: Understanding of hand and power tools
  • Reading comprehension: Ability to read and interpret work orders
  • Teamwork: Collaborate effectively with other assembly team members
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
  • Ability to be fluid across production lines
  • Must be at least 18 years of age to apply

Responsibilities

  • Read work orders
  • Attach frame sections, install glass panes, and secure hardware using hand and power tools such as screw guns
  • Inspect completed windows for defects like gaps, misalignment, and damage, ensuring they meet quality standards
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Work within established timelines to meet daily production goals
  • Crosstrain across different production lines
  • Prepare finished products for shipment
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
