Requirements

  • High School or equivalent education
  • 1 year of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Extensive knowledge in assembling various components to create products and subassemblies
  • Adaptable and recognizes that change is a constant factor
  • Strong attention to detail, along with solid math and reasoning abilities.
  • Effective verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate well with colleagues
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced team environment
  • Employs strong critical thinking skills to troubleshoot issues and offer solutions with a positive execution mindset
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

  • Completes work by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), blueprint specifications, and the Product Structure list, which involves gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
  • Positions parts and subassemblies according to blueprints, utilizing fixtures or templates as needed.
  • Maintains equipment functionality by keeping it clean and reporting any malfunctions or required repairs.
  • Performs wiring and assembly operations on a variety of electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies
  • Cut, form, connect, and/or terminate wiring according to instructions or prototypes
  • Perform necessary calibrations to adjust units following documented procedures
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment by adhering to standard 5S practices
  • Record actions by filling out production and quality forms
  • Precisely log labor hours, production amounts, inventory changes, and scrap in the ERP system
  • Responsible for meeting production and quality goals
  • Performs other duties as required
