About The Position

As an Assembler you will work within a team to build Walker Evans shocks from start to completion. In this role, you’ll utilize various hand and power tools, following work instructions to achieve our Polaris quality standards. If you enjoy being a part of a team and using your problem-solving skills, then this is the role for you.

Requirements

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
High school diploma, GED or equivalent preferred but not required
Technical Degree within a related field from an accredited institution or 0-2 years of related mechanical assembly experience
Must be familiar with a variety of concepts, practices, and procedures within mechanical assembly
Related manufacturing experience is preferred
Routinely lifts up to 40 pounds individually
Works in multiple positions during a shift
Ability to stand for a 10 hour shift
Exposed to hazards/risks that require body protection (gloves, pants, steel toes, sleeves, safety glasses, etc.)

Responsibilities

Perform mechanical assembly of products with complex functions requiring independent judgment
Understand and follow established procedures and processes to safely produce quality parts
Recognize, communicate and document safety concerns
Troubleshoot and adjust to build a quality product
Perform housekeeping and 5S to keep the department clean, safe, and well organized
Complete work documentation accurately such as production orders, tags, and quality sheets
