About The Position

This part-time role is expected to last for approximately 3 - 6 months, supporting our production needs during a critical project phase. The Assembler will work a flexible schedule on an as-needed basis. While the position is temporary, there is potential for additional project iterations and extended work upon successful completion of the initial assignment.

Requirements

High School diploma and 6 years additional education or 6 years relevant experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance

Responsibilities

Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
Work from diagrams and drawings, makes initial layouts, and uses hand and/or power tools
Make continuity checks on work in process and completed
May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications
May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
May provide occasional logistics support for long distance deliveries preparing documentation and loading and unloading equipment
May occasionally transport equipment long distance via transit van, truck, or trailer to and from customer destinations
May travel long distances within CONUS approximately 10% of the time
