Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, production, distribution, or industrial experience preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math and measurement skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and production demands.
  • Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble products, components, or subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, machinery, and production equipment safely and effectively.
  • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Identify and report defects, equipment issues, or process concerns to supervisors or team leads.
  • Package, label, and prepare products for shipment or storage.
  • Maintain accurate production records, logs, and documentation as required.
  • Follow established manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Assist with material handling, inventory movement, and workstation organization.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, productivity, and efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies.
  • Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and other departments to achieve production objectives.
  • Participate in and follow lean manufacturing methodologies and manufacturing practices.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
