About The Position

This role involves assembling valve components, preparing them for testing, and performing related tasks. The position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely and efficiently in an industrial environment. The Assembler will operate various tools and equipment, assist with inventory, and contribute to the overall production process.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 2 years of industrial experience.
• Ability to quickly learn technical product information.
• Self-starter, able to take initiative and provide results independently.
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve.
• Basic hand tools which include screwdrivers, wrenches, ratches, etc.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in service of valves, valve automation, instrumentation a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Demonstrated ability to work quickly and neatly, while multitasking.
• Performs minor maintenance of tools and makes minor adjustments to equipment operated.
• Participates and complies with all safety standards and training.
• Operates forklift and other rigging equipment.
• Assists in monitoring inventory and physical inventory counts when needed.
• Prepares valve assemblies and parts for testing, including driving studs, hand tapping, and general light assembly.
• Assist with test setup.
• Operates drill presses and hand grinders, and uses some mechanics; hand tools are required to assisting to correct balances and to remove excess metals.
