This position reports to the Production Supervisor. The work model for the role is Onsite, Flowery Branch, GA. Assemble and build electric motors and subassemblies by installing rotors, stators, brackets, brush rigging, cable caps, brakes, tachometers, blower motors, and other accessories according to specifications. Test, inspect, and troubleshoot motors by performing routine electrical and mechanical tests, completing required documentation, and correcting defects identified during assembly or testing. Finish and prepare products for shipment by machining and fitting components as needed, painting to customer requirements, applying nameplates, labels, and warning tags, conducting final inspections, and crating motors. Maintain a safe and efficient work environment by performing preventative and corrective maintenance on assembly equipment, following safe factory practices, and applying knowledge of motor assembly techniques and basic shop mathematics.
