Assembler - 1st Shift
About The Position
The Assembler works collaboratively to assemble and package product at Donaldson’s Baldwin, Wisconsin location. This is an onsite first-shift role scheduled Monday through Thursday, 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. The position involves assembling non-repetitive parts, which may include multiple parts per operation, and carrying out packaging, documentation, and quality-related tasks. The Assembler must follow prints and use test equipment when required, while complying with safety, DOT, HAZMAT, and environmental policies and procedures and wearing designated personal protective equipment. Other duties may be assigned to support Donaldson’s mission, vision, and strategic plan objectives. The position pays $23.52 per hour and is eligible for overtime in accordance with state and federal regulations. It is also eligible for a gainsharing plan based on the achievement of specific goals. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to handle materials using forklifts, cranes, carts, and similar equipment.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Quality-conscious approach.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand verbal and written instructions.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future immigration sponsorship.
