Cleveland Gear Company is seeking energetic, highly motivated, and take-charge individuals for a 2nd Shift Assembler position. This role is for a leading manufacturer of high-quality worm gearing, industrial speed reducers, and customized gear drives. Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Mechanically Inclined
• Ability to read and write
• Basic Math Skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
• Ability to stand on feet for up to 8-10 hrs per day

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with computer systems
• Previous assembly experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assemble gear reducers, gearboxes, strainers, and other drive components per information on work order.
• Test units and troubleshoot problems associated with assembly.
• Check work orders for accuracy.
• Visually check parts for quality.
• Test units for audible noises and leaks.
• Rework and correct any noise or leakage problems.
• Troubleshoot with engineering in the assembly and modification of custom drives and develop solutions.
• Responsible for final assembly and approval upon completion of assembly in conjunction with engineering.
