About The Position

An Assembler Technician is responsible for utilizing prints, work instructions and wiring diagrams in order to assemble product on the production line. This position will be responsible for assembling and joining copper and other metal components using brazing techniques to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our cooling systems. This may include the use of power tools, hand tools, overhead hoists and fixtures to complete assembly and transport material to and from the work station. Chiller Assembly Technicians are responsible for adhering to all safety and quality requirements while meeting production schedule demands.

Requirements

  • Ability to assemble and join copper and other metal components using brazing techniques.
  • Ability to use power tools, hand tools, overhead hoists and fixtures.
  • Ability to adhere to all safety and quality requirements.
  • Ability to meet production schedule demands.
  • Ability to use various manual and powered hand tools to assemble units according to customer specifications.
  • Ability to perform brazing for refrigeration and water circuit per print requirements.
  • Ability to perform high voltage, 3-phase wiring of electrical system.
  • Ability to measure, cut, fit, and insulate water piping assembly.
  • Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and wiring diagrams.
  • Ability to ensure completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.
  • Ability to use computer to access and enter information including Windows based and CAD platforms.
  • Ability to keep work area neat, clean and orderly.
  • Ability to operate overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks.

  • Ensuring completion of Quality and Production checklists/processes.
  • Using computer to access and enter information including Windows based and CAD platforms.
  • Keeping work area neat, clean and orderly.
  • Operating overhead hoists, manual hand trucks, and powered industrial trucks when required.
