About The Position

Join Allegion's Steelcraft facility, a major manufacturer of Steel Frames & Doors, and play a key role in manufacturing. You will be responsible for performing a variety of duties, including manual work handling materials for our various manufacturing and service departments. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred, however, we will support you in your training and development. This is an immediate opportunity to join a dynamic team offering both stability and benefits, working the 2nd shift from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am.

Requirements

Ability to see well, including strong depth perception and the ability to distinguish between colors
Continuously or near continuously stand and maintain your balance
Frequently (4 or more hours per day): lift, carry (25-50 lbs.), stoop, twist, and reach (overhead and to the side)
Occasionally walk, push & pull heavy carts
Climbing, kneeling, and crouching may also be required

Previous manufacturing experience is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform production work as directed to assist Machine Operators set up and operate machines
Handle and transport raw materials, parts, supplies, tools, fixtures, dies and trucks
Work in all departments to load and unload trucks, count, weight, transport, and pile materials in storage areas
Position and handle materials to load and unload conveyors, racks, containers, etc. for processing equipment
Deliver materials and parts to manufacturing departments as directed
Clean materials
Follow standardized methods of work
