About The Position
We are seeking a dependable Assembler to join a sheet metal manufacturing team. This role involves assembling metal components and finished products using hand and power tools while working from blueprints and detailed assembly instructions. You will be building a variety of industrial and commercial sheet metal products, including roof hatches, access doors, floor doors, equipment enclosures, and specialty assemblies.
Requirements
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Experience using hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality focus
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team-based production environment
Nice To Haves
- Previous mechanical assembly experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assemble sheet metal components and finished products per blueprints and work instructions
- Use hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, rivet guns, grinders, measuring tools)
- Read and interpret blueprints and assembly drawings
- Measure, align, and fit components for proper assembly
- Install hardware such as hinges, fasteners, and related components
- Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety and production guidelines
