Assemblers are needed in Traverse City for building optic sights. The work schedule is a two-week rotation. Week one consists of 44 hours, with workdays from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Friday from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Week two consists of 36 hours, with workdays from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm, and Fridays off. This role involves following pre-established methods and procedures to produce quality sights, performing visual quality inspections, and working with small parts requiring frequent use of hands and fingers. The job also includes basic record keeping for production and quality control, performing duties at various assembly stations, and ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Additionally, there may be tasks in the Shipping department, including packing sights in boxes and lifting approximately 35 to 40 pounds. There may be different added tasks as this job progresses.
