About The Position

The Assembler/Oven Operator role is responsible for aiding in the fabrication, maintenance, and repair of component parts and healthcare simulation products while also providing cross-functional support to oven operations as needed. This position follows detailed assembly instructions to accurately build sub-assemblies and finished products, ensuring all components meet quality and specification standards. In addition, this role supports the safe and efficient operation of ovens and rotational molding equipment by assisting with material preparation, monitoring equipment performance, and maintaining production flow during operator absences or scheduled breaks.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills.
  • Able to follow detailed written and oral instructions.
  • Must be efficient and careful not to damage items.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Nice To Haves

  • An individual with an assembly background is preferred.
  • Experience in a production and manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow detailed instructions to prepare parts for assembly according to procedures and guidelines.
  • Assemble components and products, ensuring accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
  • Operate equipment necessary to produce materials and products.
  • Perform quality checks on products and parts.
  • Count finished products to determine if product orders are complete.
  • Effectively communicate manufacturing, material, or equipment issues to supervising personnel.
  • Collaborate with the assembly team to meet production goals, quotas, and deadlines.
  • Assist other technical personnel as needed.
  • Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Perform routine cleaning of equipment and workspace.
  • Operate ovens, including monitoring temperatures and ensuring equipment is functioning properly to meet production standards.
  • Operate rotational molding equipment to produce plastic parts according to specifications and work orders.
  • Fill and prepare molds to be loaded into the ovens and apply mold release.
  • Measure, mix and scale ingredients according to specified formulas.
  • Handle materials and ingredients according to product guidelines to ensure preservation.
  • Assist other secondary operations or ovens as time permits.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.
