This role involves gathering required tools and materials, positioning components using fixtures as needed, and assembling cables through cutting, stripping, crimping, soldering, and subassembly work. Use a soldering iron to connect wires to switches, terminal strips, and connectors. Route and tie wires according to specified layouts using color codes or numerical sequences on harness boards. Assemble and manufacture wire harnesses, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical components following blueprints, schematics, and detailed work instructions. Perform wire preparation tasks, including crimping, stripping, soldering, splicing, and termination. Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and compliant with safety and production standards. Perform related mechanical assembly as required. Perform visual inspections and functional tests to verify quality and compliance.
