This position reports to the Supervisor of the Assembly department. The Assembler Mounting role involves reading work orders, following drawings and work instructions, and assembling manufactured products according to blueprints, work orders, verbal instructions, or work instructions. The assembler will execute assembly builds in a timely manner as defined by the production schedule, working at a bench or on the shop floor to assemble vehicle accessories. Responsibilities include collecting parts from inventory, receiving verbal instruction on order priority, and setting up daily work according to the production schedule or verbal instructions. The role requires the use of various hand tools, including torque-controlled/standard electric drills, electric/pneumatic impact drills, wrenches, torque wrenches, pneumatic riveting gun, auto screw feeder, and various other hand tools. Assemblers will work at different workstations and cross-train to support other assembly departments as required. They will also group and package finished products with a packing list for the shipping department, package parts together according to the production schedule or verbal instructions, and operate various packaging equipment such as a paper machine, shrink wrapping machine, hand sealer, bubble machine, tape machine, tape gun, and staple gun. Additionally, the role involves labeling finished products, completing paperwork, maintaining a clean work area, participating in facility maintenance, adhering to safety and ESD protection standards, performing testing on custom motion devices, participating in product assembly training, team activities, and the continuous improvement process. Quality assurance tools such as Fixtures, Scales, Inspection Tracker, and Quality Tracker will be utilized to ensure product standards are met. The assembler will also support the company's vision, mission, strategy, and values.
