About The Position

The Assembler position fabricates and assembles products, and applies knowledge of the working characteristics of multiple wood materials. In this role, you'll read and interpret drawings, work orders, and related documentation to determine methods and sequence of operations and finish specifications. The shift available is Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with overtime eligibility. This is a 40-hour work week.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or GED
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in fabrication or Millwork field
  • Make the right call with quality decisions, good judgment and keen problem-solving skills in determining better, more efficient work flows with the same high-quality standard
  • Drive results, take initiative and be action-oriented by applying time management and self-management skills every day in order to meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude

Responsibilities

  • Assist Millwork leads with set ups for each job.
  • Uses various techniques in order to assemble final product.
  • Verify settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces.
  • Maintain specifications by observing operations, taking measurements, detecting malfunctions, troubleshooting processes and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
  • Meet production goals for cycle time, quantity, and quality.
  • Perform work within drawing specifications and job notes.
  • Perform miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as requested by management.
