The Assembler Lead performs repetitive assembly operations, trains and provides work direction to the assembly team to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs. This role involves planning and assigning work tasks to meet production goals, tracking and reporting on job progress, and training new employees on assembly techniques, tool usage, and safety procedures. The position requires working in an environment with changing tasks as different product models are produced, fastening parts together, removing defective products, tending machines for assembly operations, and working at various workstations as needed. Cleaning of equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures is also a responsibility. While this role provides leadership to the workflow, it does not have official supervisory responsibilities.
