The Assembler Lead performs repetitive assembly operations, trains and provides work direction to the assembly team to mass-produce products such as windows, doors, trusses, panels, or stairs by performing the following duties. The role involves working in an environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced. The Assembler Lead will place parts in a specified relationship to each other, and fasten them together using bolts, clips, screws, or cement. They will also tend machines to perform force fitting or fastening operations on the assembly line and work at different workstations as production needs require. Cleaning equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures is also part of the role. While this job provides leadership to the workflow, it does not have official supervisory responsibilities.
