This is a first shift position working a 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off! In Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) solutions, you’ll help develop systems that sense, control, exploit and disseminate actionable information to warfighters supporting a variety of missions. Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED OR 4 years of Manufacturing experience
  • Active SECRET Clearance
  • Assembly, Wire Harness Assembly & Soldering experience
  • Certified for IPC-610
  • Certified for IPC-620 Standards

Responsibilities

  • Performs complex assembly or modification tasks on electronic and mechanical components, subassemblies and systems.
  • Solder through hole, surface mount, jumpers, and complex wiring on circuit card assemblies and other electro-mechanical devices.
  • Performs Operations for harnesses such as: Wire stripping and Tinning, (Hand Solder Tinning, and Solder Pot Tinning) Soldering Wires to terminals and solder cups Wire splicing – solder wires by Lap soldering wires together Using heat shrinkable solder devices for solder splice Crimping variety of contacts to wire
  • Assembles, disassembles, and modifies various production subassemblies by following work plans.
  • Inspects results to ensure conformance to IPC-610 and/or IPC-620 standards.
  • Performs tasks of lower level solder assembler job descriptions as needed.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
