Job Summary: We're looking for an experienced Assembler II to join our team. This role is at the heart of our production line, focusing on the back end and box-build assembly of our products. You will play a key role in ensuring that every product is built to our Jabil’s quality standards and shipped on schedule, directly contributing to our operational excellence.

Requirements

• Must be able to operate a personal computer and use related software, including advanced knowledge of the company's software packages.
• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend simple correspondence, memos, and visual aids.
• Must be able to calculate parts quantities and perform basic math, including computing rates, ratios, and percentages.
• Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Electro-Mechanical production background in support of various machine type operations.

Responsibilities

• Assemble products and systems according to detailed instructions, including visual aids. This includes using various tools, such as torque drivers and hardware, to meet production rate goals.
• Manage inventory by receiving and storing incoming materials using the FIFO (first in, first out) system.
• Scan required components from various locations like flow racks, bins, or Kanban.
• Maintain proficiency and certifications in multiple operations, including Assembler I, Router, Press Fit, RTV, DF Pre-Kitting, Hi-Pot Test, Bundle Kitting, and Pack-Out.
• Perform physical inventory counts and execute the purge process as needed.
• Maintain production equipment through preventative maintenance.
• Uphold 5S standards (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) for a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to all company safety, health, and security policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
