About The Position

IGT is seeking an experienced Assembler II (Swing Shift) to support the production of electronic gaming machines within our Used Manufacturing department. In this role, you will apply advanced assembly skills and troubleshooting experience to ensure products meet IGT’s quality and performance standards. The Assembler III performs complex assembly work with accuracy and consistency while helping guide less experienced team members. Your attention to detail, commitment to safety, and collaborative approach will help maintain efficient operations and uphold IGT’s reputation for excellence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in electronic gaming machine assembly.
  • Proficiency in the safe and effective use of hand and power tools.
  • Computer skills for reading digital work instructions and accurately entering production data.
  • Ability to interpret and follow detailed manufacturing process instructions with precision.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently to meet production and quality targets.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to support collaboration and documentation.
  • Willingness to work weekends and overtime as needed to support production schedules.
  • Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
  • Able to regularly lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to pass a security background investigation.

Responsibilities

  • Use advanced assembly skills to build and refurbish a variety of IGT gaming products with precision and efficiency.
  • Read and interpret detailed manufacturing process instructions and schematics to accurately assemble and configure components.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and correct assembly and configuration issues as they arise.
  • Identify deviations from standard processes and follow prescribed corrective actions.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively during all stages of assembly.
  • Accurately document production progress and completion using computerized systems.
  • Conduct functional and quality testing on assembled gaming machines to verify proper operation.
  • Train and support less experienced employees on assembly procedures and best practices.
  • Lead by example in maintaining safety, quality, and process discipline across all assembly activities.
